Gen 5

We finally made it, these cars look good (except the sedan), are fun to drive (except the sedan), and handle well (except the sedan)

Spinoff 2: Del Sol

If you want a Civic coupe that looks mid-engine but isn't... with a targa top! then this is the one for you! This tiny convertible was Honda's answer to Mazda's Miata but they made it front-wheel drive, what Honda knows best.

Gen 6

This is called the best Civic because of its amazing handling and it even brought us the Type R line of Civics. Us in the U.S. didn't get it but we got the Civic Si which only came in a coupe and made a whole 160 horsepower. That may not seem like a lot but it only had a 1.6 liter engine which means that it made 100 horsepower per liter which is insane for the time and is even really good now for a naturally aspirated, singular powertrain (not hybrid) engine. TL:DR it's a better 5th gen in every way and I'm not biased at all.

My Civic

I have a Civic that is now lowered and doesn't look like the monster truck in the picture above, it is not an Si but one trim below that of the EX. The EX makes 21 more HP than the lower Civic models and 23 less than the Si. It has a D16 engine instead of the B16 in the Si. The B16 has two camshafts and that's why it makes more power. Mine still has VTEC which is when your car goes from economy mode to sport mode at around 5k RPMs. THAT MEANS MY CAR IS A SPORTS CAR NOT A COMPACT CAR DON'T LET GOOGLE LIE TO YOU! IT MAKES MORE POWER THAN THE 5th GEN Si, A WHOLE 2 HORSEPOWER BUT I STILL WIN! MY 127 HORSEPOWER IS ENOUGH! I'LL EVEN TAKE SPORTS COUPE, ANYTHING PLEASE!

Gen 7

This is disgusting. They got rid of the double wishbone suspension which made the 6th gen so amazing. This was the real Y2K disaster. This car is a disgrace to Civics, Hondas, and cars as a whole. I can't stress how much I hate this car, not because of what it is, but what it took from us.

Gen 8

What a rebound, this is my 2nd favorite Civic generation. The Coupe looks like and egg and the hatchback is ugly but the sedan is a chef's kiss. If I were to buy another Civic, (which I would) it would be this one. I already have the Coupe so now I need the 4-door.

Spinoff 3: CR-Z

This is a hybrid from the era of "let's make hybrids look weird so that people know it's a hybrid!"
